Magnificent views & location. Directly above the Parque Juarez and down from the Mirador lookout. Just a few blocks away from the main square. Our home is set behind and above another property, allowing for a tranquil and private setting, while enjoying stunning panoramic views of the center of San Miguel, its churches and the distant countryside. The four levels of this property allow for a clear definition of the space, yet terraced into one another, creating a feeling of amplitude while benefiting from lush greenery from the surrounding trees and walls covered with vines. Multiple terraces and fountains set the tone for a relaxing atmosphere in the clean bright interiors that are reminiscent of the Mediterranean. On the main level you will find the living room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen with whole house water purification system, as well as a balcony and the guest bedroom with en suite bath. Below there is a private garden with a studio providing the perfect atmosphere for artistic creation. The master bedroom, located upstairs, is amazing and is wide and open. The centrally located king size bed faces the view, french doors and balcony. The en suite bathroom has a large shower and skylight above. Just off of the bedroom is an en-suite office providing internet and wifi throughout the house and overlooking the XVII Century Chapel of the Holy Cross of Chorro, the second most historical setting of San Miguel de Allende. Directly above the master bedroom you will find the most awe-inspiring view of San Miguel from the sunning terrace or the comfort of a large shaded terrace. Enjoy a sunset cocktail or espresso from the rooftop bar as you relax and take in the view. I will work with you on all the details prior to your arrival. Once in San Miguel, our house manager, Jose, is in town and available. Esmeralda, our housekeeper, will be by 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, typically around 9 am.

Our home is hidden behind a modest, historic facade and a narrow, lush garden, steps from San Juan de Dios church, less than 10 min walk to the main square. 3 bedroom suites, indoor/outdoor living rooms, fireplaces, 4 patios, terrace, rooftop lounge with city and sunset views. Parts of our garden wall date back to the 1700's. The house was designed in 2003 by esteemed architect Juan Carlos Valdés, with traditional elements, cantera columns, boveda and viga ceilings. Casa con tres recamaras ideal para cuatro a ocho personas, ubicada a unos pasos de la Parroquia de San Miguel, en primer nivel hay un baño de visitas, sala de estar, comedor, cocina y un pequeño patio al aire libre. En Primer piso hay dos habitaciones, una de ellas con cama king size, y una con dos camas queen size. En segundo piso, accesible a través de una escalera de caracol, esta una habitación con cama king size, en este piso se encuentra terraza con espectacular vista y jacuzzi.

My husband and I built this house around an old 17th century chapel. Our vision was to live in this beautiful countryside just outside San Miguel de Allende. We love it here and hope you will too. The apartment has its own private entrance, a gated patio and a full kitchen. Free off-street parking and many garden and rooftops to enjoy. Guests are invited to enjoy the jacuzzi and may also join the hosts at the bar in the main living room should they want to order a cocktail.
