The cottage has a beautiful living area and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a fireplace. It is extremely charming, the perfect place to enjoy the mountain. Outside there is a beautiful courtyard with an outdoor terrace and lounge area for guests, a barbecue. A lovely stream runs through the property. There is also a playground for children, 2 hammocks, a swing and a relaxation area for adults - heated jacuzzi (which is paid extra upon request). It is the perfect place for a great vacation.

The tiny house is on an elevated platform and that's why it is called `The Island'. From your bed you'll have the best views of the Transylvanian hills. Inside the tiny you will see that it has a lot to offer! A fully equipped kitchen to make your own meals, a comfortable bathroom with walk-in shower and a cozy bed with a stunning view. Camerele sunt renovate proaspat cu materiale naturale si decorate in spirit simplu, taranesc si autentic care ofera o ambianta de calm odihnitor. Camerele sunt parte a gospodariei noastre, cu intrare separata din curtea deschisa si primitoare. Mancarea servita este preparata din ingrediente proprii (paine integrala, lapte de vaca, branza maturata si proaspata, unt, oua, sunca, slanina si legume din gradina) Micul dejun este inclus, iar pentru celelalte mese este necesara o rezervare prealabila.

The cabin is located in a remote, quiet place, perfect for nature lovers and for those who want to get away from the daily life. We have no electricity but we have a solar photovoltaic system. We have no running water, no bathroom, but we have a compostable toilet and a shared shower, so you can feel closer to nature. You can make a barbeque, a camp fire, relax in the hammock, fish in our lake or just enjoy the silence. Our dogs and cats will be more than happy to play with you, all day long.

Situata in Tara Fagarasului, in comuna Ucea de Jos, la poalele celor mai inalti munti din Romania, Casa Bunicilor este o casa veche transilvaneana, pe care am readus-o la viata ca sa ofere celor ce ii trec pragul, locul potrivit pentru o evadare in inima Transilvaniei. Am pus mult suflet in reamenajarea casei ca sa fie cat mai primitoare si confortabila, pastrand in acelasi timp cateva elemente vechi traditionale ce sa imi reaminteasca de bunici si de copilaria petrecuta aici.

Our village is situated between Brasov city and Sibiu city, 2 km to the national way DN 1, 15 km to the faimous roud "trasfagarasan", 15 km to the highest mountains in Romania.The house is an old house wich preserves the atmosphere of the 1900s, the furniture has over 100 years old. It is a good place to experience the original peasant life in the middle of Transylvania. Here it is a good place and a easy way to discover our Country, our culture and our life.
