Bright and cheery in the bedrooms best suited for 2-4 adults or family with children. Wonderful sound of the river throughout the property. Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Hillside Vista

Relax at this one-story home in the country with beautiful rolling hills & mountain views where you're also likely to observe an Old Order Mennonite horse and buggy passing by. Close to JMU, Bridgewater College, EMU, a short drive to Massanutten ski resort, and numerous local vineyards. Downtown Harrisonburg is less than 20 min away with a variety of restaurants, breweries, shops, and parks. Visit the National & State Forests nearby with endless opportunities for hiking, biking, and exploring.

The Camp at Willow Brook: a Modest Rural Retreat

Two bedroom, 1 bath cabin nestled in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains beside Waggy's Creek. The cabin, originally built as a mountain family getaway, has recently been renovated as an Airbnb for those seeking outdoor activities and tranquility. The rustic cabin is also accompanied by a picnic shelter with a working rock fireplace, loft, and an additional outdoor bathroom (in season). Approximately 2 acres of field and partially wooded property are available to guests. NO PETS.

Situated with perfect views of the outside, the guest quarters space is over 2200 sq ft. and features a lounge/media center, common meeting area, bedrooms & bathrooms, entertainment center with air hockey table and ping pong, and a fully supplied gym. The Roost in Lower Rawley

Newly rebuilt, quaint cabin in the heart of Lower Rawley Springs, ten miles west of Harrisonburg, in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. This lovely cabin is a short walk to the hiking trails of The George Washington National Forest, within walking distance of Dry River and Gum Run Stream, and a quick drive to the college town of Harrisonburg. Enjoy hiking, grilling, cooking in our fully equipped kitchen, or relaxing by the campfire or on the front porch. Join us!

The Farmhouse At War Branch

Escape to the country and settle into our charming 100+-year-old farmhouse on a working cattle farm. With original wood floors, modern comforts, spacious rooms, and plenty of old farmhouse character, it’s a true home away from home. Spend your days enjoying the peaceful countryside and cattle grazing nearby, catch an unforgettable sunset, then cozy up around the fire pit with firewood provided. A perfect place to slow down, relax, and stay a while!

Mossy Ridge Retreat

Secluded mountain retreat on a private drive. Newly renovated! Just a short drive to local colleges Eastern Mennonite University, Bridgewater College and James Madison University. There are lots of local restaurants or stay in and cook in the fully stocked kitchen! Seasonally local produce is available from farm stands. Be prepared to see wildlife from the porch sitting in a rocking chair or see a sunrise or sunset peeking through the trees!

This beautiful, peaceful property is the perfect way to get away and relax with the whole family! Aside from the garage (which is on the first floor as well), enjoy the entire rest of the space on the first floor! There are two Farmers Markets and numerous other attractions nearby.
