Sit on the deck while your barbeque cooks and watch the swifts dart around on the lake. Wander the forestry tracks or join the friendly locals down at the "Castle".

My place is close to the beach 🏝️ only a few minutes, coffee cart, walking tracks, water falls, beaches plus supermarket, coffee, cafe, restaurants,dining and shopping in Owaka. You’ll love Surat Bay cottage because of the modern space, cosy beds, indoor /outdoor living, fire pit & all the home comforts. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers & families (with kids), We are close to Surat bay, Owaka, cannibal bay, Kaka point, the nuggets & Pounawea. Free Wifi is available

Our family holiday house, and getaway to the Catlins. 2 storied with 4 bedrooms + 2.5 bathrooms. Downstairs consists of an open plan dining/living w kitchen, fireplace & heatpump. 1 bedroom w wetfloor shower, and a sep bathroom and laundry. Third toilet in garage. Upstairs - 3 bedrooms, 1xbathroom w sep toilet, plus a large lounge for entertaining, with views of the Catlins Lake & rural surrounds, with a glimpse of the sea in the distance. Come and experience our 'getaway place'.

Tucked away on a peaceful farm just 7km off State Highway 87, this cosy three-bedroom cottage is the perfect countryside escape — or an ideal stopover between Dunedin and Central Otago. Wake up to rural views from every room, unwind in the lounge or on the sunny deck, and enjoy evenings around the stone woodfire BBQ. Guests love the stunning night sky and the sense of calm. Only 45 minutes from Dunedin Airport, it’s close enough for convenience but far enough to feel a world away.

Taieri Mouth Bach

True Kiwi Bach! 1 minute walk to beach - cross the road and onto beach track. Positioned at the end of street with a large park and play ground only meters away. Sunny section that soaks up all day sun. Fully equiped kitchen and a bbq for use. Basic shower/laundry set up. Guests must bring their own linen (sheets, tea towels, towels etc.) NOTE: basic batch can only be cleaned to a certain standard, it has a composting toilet. Not everyone will appreciate this system!
