'The Nevis' has been thoroughly modernised, while retaining a number of the original features. The interior decor beautifully harmonises the contemporary and traditional, and maximises the historical detail throughout. This apartment is a comfortable, functional, yet truly luxurious place to stay. 'The Nevis' is situated on the first floor. You will be welcomed by a traditional Scottish 'Close' gaining access to the front door from two flights of stairs, around 20 in total. The apartment has been refurbished with the traveller in mind, but also being careful to retain some of the original Victorian features. The apartment has a self contained kitchen, including oven, hob, microwave, fridge and plenty of storage for that long stay. There is also a dining table in the bay window for four people to enjoy a home cooked meal. If cooking at home isn't your thing, there are several restaurants within 100 metres for you to enjoy stunning Scottish food, or just a drink. Garvies restaurant is 15 metres from the apartment front door and currently offer any guests at West Highland Apartment 20% off their food bill. Guests have access to all cooking facilities together with a flexible space for eating and socialising. The location means that guests can walk to the majority of the cities major attractions. I will be try to be available and if not then I have two good friends and neighbours around. The flat is in the heart of the West End, close to some of the best of Glasgow's entertainment. The vibrancy of the students mixed with the idiosyncrasy of the more mature residents makes this one of the best neighbourhoods in Glasgow. Hillhead subway is 200m from the flat. I can arrange parking if guests have a car.
