Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

Welcome! A peaceful, unique, cosy cabin set in my lovely garden in a no through lane, in the Somerset countryside. Enjoy views of the garden, fields, birds and farm animals. Wedmore village with 3 pubs, deli, Indian, cafe and shops is only 1.3 miles away. Cheddar Gorge/Mendip Hills are a short drive, Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol too. Somerset is a great county to explore with its hills/levels, historic sites, nature reserves, coastline and local cider makers. SORRY NO PETS. Week/month discount.

Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden

Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner.

Ian's Cottage, Wedmore - country cottage for two

Ian's Cottage has been lovingly renovated and converted from a small barn into a beautiful little holiday cottage set in its own garden with breathtaking views across the fields to the Mendip Hills - not a road in sight! Although it is small we believe it has all the comforts that are essential for a relaxing break. As we’re in a lovely countryside setting, you may spot some of our little neighbours such as spiders, ladybirds, or other harmless insects who also enjoy the peace and quiet here.

Sweet Little Barn Annex

A private and rural location in the pretty village of Wedmore makes this the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside and historic towns and villages in the area. Wedmore is situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, and is close to three incredible nature reserves as well as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

Two Bedroom Cottage in the Village of Wedmore

Situated on a quiet lane yet just a couple of minutes walk from the vibrant village centre of Wedmore with its pubs, shops and restaurants, Rose Cottage is the perfect place to unwind. Further afield, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and the sea are all within easy reach. Doris our shepherds hut

Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

Refurbished, bright, spacious one bedroom barn conversion, located up a peaceful country lane, just a moments walk from the centre of the thriving, quaint village of Wedmore. Shared drive with parking for one vehicle and own private patio. Opportunity to sit and star gaze, birdwatch or just enjoy a peaceful drink outdoors. Also moments away from three great pubs and several charming cafes and eateries. Wedmore is a stunning central location from which to explore all of Somerset.

Hut on the Hill Holidays

Traditional Shepherds Hut with a back to basics feel, privately situated in our quiet, walled garden, on the sunny slopes of the Mendip Hills. A stones throw from the famous Cheddar Gorge and Cliffs . Access to lovely walks and bike trails direct from your door , and yet a short stroll to pubs , cafes and restaurants. Wood stoves for those chillier nights to keep things cosy , we provide all wood/kindling . You will need to manage the stove yourself , a relatively easy task .

Clover Hill Barn, Westbury-sub-Mendip

Clover Hill Barn is a self contained fully heated converted 19th century barn situated in the centre of the peaceful Somerset village of Westbury-sub-Mendip. Located within a private walled garden, the ground floor comprises a fully equipped kitchen, shower room and dining area. Climb the spiral staircase to relax in the sitting area with views to the Mendips and Somerset Levels and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in the super king size bed.

Tranquil retreat in a beautiful Somerset village

Our annexe has been refurbished to provide a high-end environment, ideal for 2 adults to relax in. It is set in an area called the Allertons, a cluster of beautiful character villages. It is always a pleasure to stroll around. The pace is relaxed, the locals are very friendly and will direct you to the local pubs and shops if requested. The Mendip hills , Wells and Glastonbury are very near, and all offer so much for sight seekers.

Cosy country cottage

The cottage has views over looking Cheddar Gorge and Axbridge. The annex has a private entrance into lounge with stair case going up to lovely bedroom, which has a double bed and single bed plus small en-suite shower room. There is a small kitchenette . We are 20 minutes from Bristol airport, 20 minutes from Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, 50 minutes from Bath. The accommodation is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
