The Cottage on the Green

The Cottage is situated on the backside of an acre parcel behind the main house. A swimming pool separates the main house from the cottage. The property is very quiet, peaceful and private. Guest have a Separate entrance. We are a retired lieutenant from a California LE agency and his wife a retired teacher who give guests as much privacy as requested. We are a short distance from the Longleaf Trace and 1.5 miles from the Barn at Bridlewood wedding venue for those attending a wedding there.

Meg's Eclectic "Tall Pines".

Your whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique home. Privacy awaits at "Tall Pines", our dog-friendly home features 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms with a large fenced in property that boasts over 30 mature pine tress. You can get away from everything while experiencing all that Laurel has to offer. FUN FACT: The main bedroom features 2 bathrooms, a 'his' and 'hers'. If you ever wondered if separate bathrooms were worth it, they are! You will just love visiting Laurel.

Hough Hill

We were born and raised in the area,and it has always been a dream of ours to open a bed and breakfast on the old homestead property. We shared many cherished memories here, and it is our hope that our guest will be able to create their own during their stay. Hough Hill is furnished with family heirlooms that have been passed down through many generations. The opportunity to rebuild this place to share with our guests has been a gift from God, and we truly hope you enjoy your stay with us.

The Sheepherder's Wagon at Fulmer's Farmstead

This cozy little living space was modeled after the sheep herder's wagon and huts from the turn of the century. Finished with modern amenities the sheepherder's wagon offers the quaintest "Glamping" experience to be found. Built in 2014, this home offers breathtaking views of the long & winding Leaf River, a 1-mile sandbar, unlimited sounds of nature & birds singing, as well as peace & quiet. Located 1.8 miles off the blacktop, this getaway allows you to reconnect with nature & re-energize for the daily grind.
