The property is tucked away in a sought after cove location on the grounds of Porthilly Farm, just a short walk across the beach to Rock. This charming little gem is an idyllic coastal getaway perfect for romantic breaks, taking it easy by the sea or for adventurous getaways alike. We run a working dairy and shellfish farm and our oysters & mussels are grown in the estuary.

All the beaches offer great surf potential in particular conditions and there is great fishing from the rocks or beaches

Jersey Cottage provides a fabulous, contemporary, and open plan space with 3 double bedrooms for up to 6 people. The kitchen is spacious, well equipped and a perfect place to entertain around a centre island. The lounge has two large sofas, smartTV and log burning fireplace. Sliding doors open up onto the patio. Each bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom is upstairs. It features a king-sized bed with access onto a balcony for fabulous views. The driveway parks 2-3 cars.

There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
