Our cabin is exactly that. It’s a cabin that is functional. A good base to explore the area or attend a function. It’s not a 5 star hotel but warm, clean and cosy. This is a purpose built cabin with 2 good sized bedrooms, an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner and a bathroom with a bath and shower. It is situated within a 15 minute walk to the nearest pub, 1.5 miles from Roxwell and 6 miles from Chelmsford Railway station Due to the rural location it is strongly advised you follow the what3words

'The Little House' - in the centre of Stock

'The Little House' ( my grandson's name for it it) is a hidden gem, tucked away in the centre of the lovely village of Stock. It is a detached, converted small barn with its own entrance, key box and allocated parking space in front. You'll find this accommodation light and airy and very private, decorated with a sailing theme throughout. There are two village shops (with late opening hours) , a hairdresser and beauty salon, four pubs and a cafe within less than five minutes walk.

Based on the outskirts of Chelmsford this unique cabin sits on a working fruit farm. It offers a peaceful setting to work from or relax in which overlooks a small plum orchard. Just a short walk away you can pick up supplies from Lathcoats Farm Shop or use The Bee Shed Coffee House for breakfast or lunch. The Picker's Lodge offers a kettle, toaster, microwave and everything you need for something quick and easy in the evening or visit a local pub or restaurant, plenty to choose from!

A comfortable studio apartment set apart from the main house with off road parking right outside. Guests have their own front door, and there is a private deck looking out over neighbouring farmland . The studio has a private shower room, fresh towels and sheets are provided. There is a small kitchen area with a microwave, a toaster and an air fryer. We can arrange check in and check out times to suit us both, and we are happy to advise on the local area. Please ask!

Boutique cabin in countryside setting in the beautiful peaceful village of Little Baddow, a picturesque village in Essex. 10 minutes by car from the city of Chelmsford and 15 minutes from coastal town of Maldon. The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

Parking for 1 vehicle, 2nd space available if requested. It’s a 5 min drive from the The Brentwood Centre & approx. 10 min drive to the High Street. There are local supermarkets, takeaways & restaurants within a 15 min walk away. There are some lovely walks on the door step.

Rural Detached Double Room/Bath, North Essex

Close to Stansted Airport (20 minutes), beautiful rural location, part of our 14th century farmhouse, the old Bakehouse is a cosy bedroom and ensuite with private entrance. We are not a hotel, but this is an extension of our family home. If you wish to leave your car, if you are flying from Stansted, we can offer long-term parking for £10/day (vs £25/day at Stansted Airport). Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
