Walking amongst the majestic redwoods, along one of our nations cleanest and most biodiverse rivers, is truly a sight to behold and an experience to be had. Keep a look out for elk, eagles, bears and Bigfoot.

Visit us at our redwood homestead to experience modern country living. Our cabin is nestled between tall groves on an acre of land just outside of town. We have chickens, a koi pond, fruit trees, and are surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Both the National Park and ocean are less than a 10 minute drive away, making this the ideal spot to recharge in between adventures. Ample parking ,2 min walk to Smith River,10 min drive to hiking trails & Redwood national Parks. 20 min drive to beach. Horseback riding nearby for both forest & beach rides (requires Res)

Bring the whole family to The Ruby Rose to unwind and escape the heat and spend time at the beach, or hiking the giant redwood forrest's. This cozy home is located about 5 minutes from down town Crescent City, in a very quiet and quaint 1960's neighborhood. This home features a large family room perfect for relaxing after a long day of surfing the Pacific Ocean. Bring your kayaks, or binoculars; Lake Earl awaits you at the end of the road, perfect for birdwatching or spending time outdoors.

Sunset Sanctuary

The day ends differently here. The sun drops toward the Pacific, the light goes copper, then pink, then impossible shades you'll never forget. Sunset Sanctuary sits on a bluff above Preston Island. Gray whales pass during migration—you might catch spouts from the living room. Inside: wood stove, piano, vinyl records, books, games. Beach access one block away. Jedediah Smith redwoods 30 minutes north. Three bedrooms, two sofa beds, one air mattress, two baths, sleeps 12. Pets are welcome.
