A Highland cottage built in the 1720's, newly refurbished in the spirit of Scottish country living. Tradition, authenticity and fireside comfort complement contemporary furnishings and light airy spaces.

Located on the waters edge of Loch Katrine in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Linens are provided for your stay. For the 2026 season, we have a new hot tub and sauna available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure.

Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. The Bothy is stylishly converted from two jold stone farm cottages into a luxurious 2 bedroom cottage. The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.

Located on the southern edge of the beautiful Perthshire village of Comrie, with fields, hills and rivers literally on the doorstep. Nearby attractions include historic Creiff, whisky distillery, walking, watersports, golf courses, cycling and Comrie Croft.
