The immediate area is great for hiking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and exploring. Snowmobile right from the door to Lewis County C8 accessing all beautiful trails to anywhere in the state.

Old Jail at St. Drogo's

The Old Lewis County Jail at St. Drogo's house is part of a revitalization and repurposing of the county's old jail. In addition to this residence, St. Drogo's house has a coffee roastery / coffee bar as well as an artisanal bakery located on the first floor. Wake up to the smell of freshly baking croissants and espresso! Lowville is in the geographical center of Lewis County. We're a stone's throw from the Adirondacks, the Black River and the Tug Hill. An outdoor enthusiasts dream with plenty of good fishing/kayaking ponds around Clear Pond, French Pond, Mud Pond, Long Pond, to name just a few. You're just 2 miles down the road from Five Ponds Wilderness area, with well over a hundred thousand acres of public land. Also, enjoy the ATV and Snowmobile trails. C8 and C5 trails are almost on your doorstep!

V's Victorian Manor B&B offers a private fully furnished one bedroom, one bath apartment on the second floor. Comfortable accommodation for one to two guests. Only 20 minutes from Watertown, Fort Drum, and Lowville, and approx. 10 minutes from Wheeler Sacks Airfield. Continental breakfast included, plus pancake mix, syrup, and a waffle iron.
