The studio is perfectly located for exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline, Skomer Island, walking, biking and water sports.

Square Island is a peaceful, rural location adjacent to a small farm. Pembroke town and several outstanding beaches are just a short drive away. We are close to the Coast Path and NCN cycle route 4, local pick up/drop off available on request. The Barn is a converted donkey stable, with traditional lime plaster walls and upcycled timber giving it a rustic feel. The courtyard is gated and secure for pets, perfect for drinks and BBQ in the summer. Solo traveller discount available on request.

Within walking distance is Sandy Haven, a lovely secluded beach with rock pools and a slipway. Close by are Dale, Marloes Sands and Martin’s Haven, where you can catch a boat to Skomer, famous for its puffins. The nearest towns are Milford Haven, with its marina and picturesque Haverfordwest.

The surrounding peninsula is part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Park which offers stunning coastal walks, offshore islands, rare birds, colonies of grey seals and visiting dolphin and porpoise. Beach options (several within walking distance) are endless and unspoilt. There’s every type of water-sport on offer and one of the best pubs in Wales on the doorstep.
