We live on the main floor below the attic unit, but it has its own entrance and is completely separate. You should expect some noise from our family and dog, but you can expect privacy as well. Please note that this is the downstairs of our home and there are stairs up to a locked door which we have put a curtain over. We do have a baby and a dog upstairs, so minor overhead noise is possible!
