Lakeside Retreat is a cozy cabin perfect for couples on Lake Lanier. It is located in Dawsonville, Georgia with close proximity to numerous wineries, downtown Dahlonega, outlet mall shopping, wedding venues, and so much more. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with most anything you might need while traveling. You will love the jetted tub as well as the comfy king bed. (You will have the entire place to yourselves as the basement portion is currently being used as storage.)

For additional space for up to 4 more people in your party - we have 2 additional bedrooms and a bathroom in the main cabin through a private entrance that can also be rented at additional costs. Our home and facilities are in a private, wooded setting on the Chestatee River. We have walking trails, gardens, benches, artwork and outdoor areas to enjoy. We have 2 outdoor fire pit areas, both easy walking distances from the cabins.

Our secluded creekside cabin is tucked away on a trout preserve in Dahlonega’s national forest, surrounded on all sides by nature & water! We have a natural swimming hole with a constant running flow of mountain spring water (it gets its blue tint from the spring minerals). Enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, gold panning, and exploring the extensive forest service roads! Multiple small waterfalls 30 ft from the house. Pool table, Firepit, Outdoor kitchen, Hammocks. Guests will feel right at home, as it is prepared with everything you would need to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. This home has been beautifully renovated and has seasonal views of the Lake and Mountains on the wrap around porch! The home is located in Big Canoe Mountain Community, one hour north of Atlanta, Georgia.
