The spacious, state-of-the-art kitchen comes fully equipped with every item of kitchenware you could possibly need to rustle up anything from a snack to a gourmet meal. The main living area was the former pub's saloon bar, and in tribute to the building’s rich history has been fitted with a copper-topped bar, a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while looking out across the water. In keeping with the pub theme, there's a second “breakfast and coffee bar” next to the kitchen, an ideal spot for a leisurely morning read. The former beer cellar has been converted into a cinema and is now a secret haven to unwind and indulge a media fix. Guests have access to fast, reliable WiFi in every corner of the property and a large washer and dryer for their personal use. By Train: The hourly high-speed train service takes approximately one hour and twenty minutes from London, St. Pancras to Deal town centre and the house is a ten-minute walk from the station. By Car: Deal is twenty-minute drive north Dover and well connected to the motorway network. One parking permit is supplied for guests use, additional pay and display parking is readily available.

Fanny’s Dilemma, Middle Street

Fanny’s Dilemma was built in 1715. The original part of the house is hugely atmospheric with original panelling and fireplaces, steeped in the smuggling history of Deal. The cosy winter parlour and dining room are truly delightful. The airy room at the back of the house has evolved and is now a modern kitchen/family room. Renovated in 2021, it has vaulted ceilings and access to the garden The 4th bd rm in the basement down steep stairs and has a small 4ft double bed and private shower room.

It's a wonderful place to get away from the day to day stresses with the beach and the sea gulls making it feel like a proper holiday every time. It has loads of character and is as comfortable, in the summer or the winter with either the mature garden or the snug to relax in.
