Fanny’s Dilemma, Middle Street

Fanny’s Dilemma was built in 1715. The original part of the house is hugely atmospheric with original panelling and fireplaces, steeped in the smuggling history of Deal. The cosy winter parlour and dining room are truly delightful. The airy room at the back of the house has evolved and is now a modern kitchen/family room. Renovated in 2021, it has vaulted ceilings and access to the garden The 4th bd rm in the basement down steep stairs and has a small 4ft double bed and private shower room.

It was formerly owned by the Queen Mothers interior designer, Lady Barbara Davy, and retains much of her original style, now upgraded to modern day standards. There is a large private secluded garden and your own stocked cocktail bar to enjoy.

It's location makes it the perfect gateway to either London or Europe. Please note to keep my prices low, the price quoted is for couples sharing the main bedroom. If the spare bedroom is required to be made up, it is an extra £20 per night (with 10% discount if longer than one week).
