Ideally suited to guests who like nature, the countryside and walking, there are no nightclubs. The West Somerset Heritage Steam Railway can be seen from the hut and is accesible. With sweeping views, the hideaway is accessed off our private lane and set in its own private plot with parking and a garden. Our newly built Shepherd's Hut is self-contained in its own plot at the end of our back garden with direct, private access down a path alongside our property. The hut lies on the fringes of Totnes, in a secluded location with views across fields towards Haytor. A welcome breakfast of bread and cereals is provided on arrival, with tea and coffee available. We are always available should you need tips on where to go or can leave you to discover and enjoy this area entirely on your own.

I spent 19 months in a shed making this from scratch, and it has my heart. It's designed to meld the security of home with the whims of the wild. There's a bus windscreen above the bed for star/cloud gazing, your own private woodland clearing, a woodburner, and all you need for good dining. It's totally secluded, you won't see anyone or visa versa. Now featuring a hot outdoor shower among the trees, running hot water inside, and Wi-Fi for the WFH crew.
