The Burrows, coastal luxury with incredible views

Welcome to The Burrows, a 1860's stone cottage we have sensitively reimagined & restored, opening it up to take in the ever changing view over Freycinet peninsula. A large living space is the heart of the home with a wood fire at one end, feather sofa, armchairs and a custom made window seat overlooking Great Oyster Bay. Both bedrooms have amazing views over the water & our intimate bath house with clawfoot bath & french doors is the perfect place to watch the sunset reflected over the Hazards

The Cabin

Beloved cabin on the edge of the National Park. The Park starts where the deck ends. 100m to the beach on a direct bush track. You can hear the waves from bed, and with no buildings or streetlights between you and the park, the sky is a wonder at night. Perfect base for exploring or staying in. Uninterrupted views of the mountains, cosy living area with warm lighting and an efficient wood fire, simple kitchen, sunny bedroom, and a deck with a clear view of the mountains you've just climbed.

Dolphin Sands Beach Studio

Nestled amongst the native flora of this 5-acre block, this quiet setting backs directly onto the spectacular 9-mile beach and the breath-taking vistas of the Freycinet National Park. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door in a new house, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

Centrally located and less than 100m to Jubilee Beach and boatramp this purposely built 1 bedroom unit has been designed and decorated to provide casual, relaxed, coastal accommodation. A great location where you can park the car and walk to beach, shops, restaurants and cafes. Set up for couples with kitchen facilities and separate bathroom, we hope we have provided a relaxed atmosphere for you to enjoy the East Coast from. Minimum of 2 night stays. No Wifi connected.

Our Unit is centrally located with great views. Self contained, at end of a quiet street, suitable only for 2 people. We also live on the property in a separate house. The Unit is at the side of the main house and very private. Please note that we offer multiple night discount. Free Parking between big shed and accommodation unit. Very close to Freycinet National Park (Wineglass Bay), Douglas Apsley, Vineyards, Natureworld, & local Penguin tours.

There are local vineyards aplenty, Freycinet National Park up the coast and Swansea just ten minutes away - staying longer to explore will only enhance your experience at Driftwood.
