Welcome to Casita Bonnechere, a rustic tiny cabin located along the Bonnechere river, just outside of Douglas Ontario (home of the Leprechaun!). Very private, this is the perfect opportunity to reconnect to nature and enjoy a peaceful, revitalizing getaway (1 hr from Ottawa). It is a wonderful place to curl up by the wood stove and read a book, lay in a hammock looking up in the trees, swim in a slow river, go for a walk, kayak, stargaze, or relax by the water watching birds and dragonflies.

First floor is kitchen and living room area, second floor bedroom and washroom - snow mobile and four wheeler trails near by

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
