Faiche an Traoin (Faish an Trown) means Field of the Corncrake, birds that once inhabited this area. It was built in 2020, has 2 double bedrooms, large lounge/dining area/kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower. It is located in the village of Dunan, 5 miles from Broadford. The house is directly above the seashore with views to the Island of Scalpay across Loch na Cairidh, the Old man of Storr and to the mountains of the mainland and the wall to ceiling windows highlight the beautiful views

Samphire Lodge with sauna - stunning loch views

A stunning three bedroom Highland lodge on The North Route 500, boasting spectacular views. Samphire lodge is situated on a hill giving it a vantage overlooking the sea Loch to the Attadale valley. Situated at the edge of the village, you are a short stroll from local amenities. Indoors you are greeted by the warm colour of the wood, and feels especially cosy when the cast iron fire is roaring. Samphire Lodge has three spacious bedrooms, a wet room, an outdoor sauna and fully equipped kitchen.

The Quaint Wee - House with sea and mountain views

Truly relax and unwind at this peaceful shoreside accommodation with an ever changing stunning view. Ideally located for gentle strolls from the house to the local beach and to explore this Scottish Site of Scientific Interest. Perfect for twitcher and wildlife enthusiasts, you may even catch a glimpse of an otter and seals! This is also an ideal launch site for your own kayak/canoe/SUP to just paddle around. From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

Healabhal Cottage is tucked away in the most scenic corner of Skye. It offers the perfect mix of a secluded spot with an unbeatable view over the sea, while being easy and short distances to so many amazing sights, and restaurants, (including three Chimneys & dunvegan). Healabhal is the perfect spot to enjoy everything that Skye has to offer. Enjoy our open living home, with a log fire. We understand that dogs are a member of the family, so we are dog friendly for up to 2 well behaved dogs.

The Tin Sheds - Orange Shed - Coastal holiday home

The Tin Sheds offer spacious, modern accommodation with spectacular waterfront views. The homes are a short 20 minute drive from the Skye Bridge and offer a centrally located base from which to explore the island. A supermarket, shops, cafes, restaurants, plus a pharmacy & fuel station are conveniently located in Broadford village, a 7 minute drive away. Key attractions including Portree, the Old Man of Storr, the Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery are all approximately 30 - 40 mins away.

Spacious cabin beside the sea

Situated in the township of Braes, only a 15 minute drive from Portree, our cabin 'moonen' overlooks the Sound of Raasay. It sits on the sea side of an old church building, near the shoreline. It is peaceful here and a haven for wildlife. You can sometimes see whales and dolphins from your window and seals and otters on the nearby shore. Roe deer, sea eagles and buzzards are a common sight too. Enjoy beautiful views over to the Island of Raasay from both the bedroom and living area.

Remote Raasay Cottage

This cottage is in a remote position on the Isle of Raasay, and is the highest dwelling on the Isles. The weather can be extreme. It is a traditional croft cottage, with some original features retained. The sunroom faces WSW with a spectacular view of Skye from the Cuillins up to Trotternich. Wi-fi is good enough for emails, but not for video calls. Not necessarily suitable therefore for working online. You can walk directly from the cottage up Dun Caan and down to Inver beach.

Gael

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.
