Upstairs is the master bedroom furnished with a queen bed. It should be noted that the property is historic and the staircase to the bedroom is steep - please see the listing photos in case this is an issue. Public transport runs regularly along nearby Sandy Bay Rd, although all inner-city attractions, including the MONA ferry, are an easy 15-minute walk. Public transport is only a few steps away on nearby Sandy Bay Road. The Metro Tasmania bus network runs regular services into the city and down towards the Sandy Bay University campus. Taxis and Uber are also reliable in Hobart and will cost under $10 into the CBD/Salamanca and wharf precinct.

The Bakehouse - character - history - convenience

The bake house is a unique historical building circa 1880 that has been converted into contemporary accomodation. It is part of a precinct of three buildings, all relating the same function of supporting "Watson's" Bakery in the shop facing Macquarie street (now a funky homewares shop). You get to enjoy a three bedroom house. Three bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and toilet, living kitchen, dining and laundry downstairs. You have your own private courtyard with a picnic setting.
