It takes 3 hours from Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. You can see a totally different aspect of the city side of Japan. Green mountains, clear river, Firefly, many stars, rice field, Vegetable field. The house is a beautiful nature. And also we have good neighbors. You will see the real Japanese countryside that is not written in the guidebook. The room is surrounded by my father's and my artworks. The huge kitchen, living room, and garden are yours. Please enjoy and relax in the cozy house.

Sanson Terrace "Silk Barn"

Ohinata in Sakuho-town is a small village in a valley. I renovated a 80 years small wooden house by myself taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.

" 마음 같아선 한달, 아니 일년쯤 지내고 싶은 제주.. 단 며칠만 지내도 제주를 오롯이 느낄 수 있는 감성숙소를 준비했어요. 돌담과 오래된 동백나무, 광나로 둘러싸여있어서 외부의 시선과 소음에 분리되어 있어요..화단에는 각종 꽃이 봄을 맞아서 피어날 준비를 하고 있답니다. 오래된 제주집을 손수 리모델링해서 묵직한 서까래 밑에 세련되고 아기자기한 소품들을 만날 수 있어요.제주전염색방법인 감물염색기법으로 물들인 삼베와 소창으로 창문을 꾸미고 제주 삼나무로 테이블을 만들었어요. 진주고르듯 고른 예쁜 화산석으로 주방을 장식했답니다. 마당 한켠에 있는 작은 별관에서는 차도마시고 느긋하게 월풀을 즐기며 식사도 할 수 있어요. 돌담아래에 오소록하게 자리잡은 야외 자쿠지로 느긋하고 여유로운 오후를 보내보세요. 걸어서 바다까지는 5분이 채 걸리지 않고 손에 잡힐 듯 아름다운 섶섬을 매일 산책하며 바라볼 수 있어요. 완벽한 제주의 하루를 이곳에서 보내보세요.
