A large, cosy rustic 1 room cabin with separate electric shower & toilet, & kitchenette. King size bed. Stunning countryside views, set in a private animal paddock at the top of our garden. Fantastic for dog walking. It’s situated on a rural lane in an AONB . Situated between 2 villages both with pubs & village shops, one is easily walkable but a car is recommended, or bikes. We are located between north & south coasts so stunning beaches on hand as well as two national parks, Exmoor & Dartmoor.

On the Jurassic Coast, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the Devon / Dorset border. 2 miles from Lyme Regis beach and ½ a mile from a pub and shop in Uplyme. 1 mile to River Cottage HQ Outdoor sitting area, space to store bikes, etc.

Burrow Hill Cottage is a pet friendly Rural property in a very peaceful location in the Blackdown Hills AONB. The perfect getaway to chill and relax. It is approximately 1 mile from Hemyock at the veryend of a no-through road, no passing cars, lots of wildlife, dark skies and footpaths from your door. The Cottage has plenty of character, very spacious rooms with exposed beams, large inglenook fireplace with log burner. Large private sunny south facing garden with decking area. SECURE FOR DOG

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

It's a great base for walking, cycling, touring, shopping, eating and drinking ...and curling up in front of the log fire. Sidbury village is a 20 min walk away. And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!
