The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km from Marlo township.

Myrtle Cottage

Cosy sun-filled 2 bedroom mud brick cottage. NE aspect overlooks forest, distant mountains, rolling hills and grazing lands. Pet friendly, with secure enclosure at the back of the house if needed. Beautiful established gardens. Easy wheelchair access. Host close-by for local info and assistance if required.

Swan Cove Garden on Beach

Please note the vehicular ferry is out for maintenance from Nov 10 til Dec 7. During this time we can collect you from the passenger ferry. Wide open spaces, fresh sea air and no crowds. Transport yourself to a 2- storey Hansel and Gretel style cottage in a forest by the water on an island where you can see koalas and wildlife up close in their natural environment. Only 4 hours from Melbourne. We are very sorry pets are not permitted here due to the sensitive nature of the wildlife.

Koala Kottage’s refurbished interior features a living area, dining area, exquisite large en suite bathroom with garden courtyard view and an ultra modern fully equipped kitchen . There is also an eating area and BBQ outside on the vine covered deck or make use of the seated fire pit area with a barbecue cooking plate . Off-grid retreat … Dargo Viewz is a “hut” with a difference. The studio-style getaway is totally off-grid and set in a very peaceful, secluded area outside Dargo. Enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the Dargo valley. Winter mornings are special here – watch the fog clouds roll over the hills and meander through the valley. Please be aware that from June to December the Dargo High Plains Road is closed. This means you can't drive from Mt Hotham to Dargo on that road.

‘Karbeethong Hill’ is a completely SC private one bedroom unit with QS bed. Ensuite, fully equipt kitchen/living room. The apartment has fantastic views overlooking the lake and Howe Range with garden furniture and barbecue on the private deck. All bed linen and towels, tea/coffee making machine and coffee pods supplied. This home is on the top of Karbeethong hill so there are stairs to access the unit, very manageable with handrails and good night lighting.
