Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

Oosthuizen Studio, voor kort en langer verblijf.

De studio is de bovenverdieping van ons achterhuis, met eigen opgang, kleine douche/wc en keukentje. De ruimte is 10 bij 6, met uitzicht over de Beemsterringvaart. Het is 10 minuten lopen naar de bushalte. Met bus 314 kun je de ene kant op naar de historische stad Hoorn en de andere kant naar Amsterdam centraal. De bus doet daar 40 minuten over. Het beste kun je vooraf aan je bezoek bij Amsterdam traveltickets kaarten kopen zodat je van al het openbaar vervoer gebruik kunt maken ( 26/ 33 euro)

From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! At the hart of Old-Holland lays Edam. Enjoy our appartement, right in the historic Town Center, direct at the cheese market. A direct bus connection brings you 24/7 at a high frequency to the Amsterdam Central station in 30 minutes to vist the town till late. Bicycles for rent available at the house, for a trip trough the country side of Holland. Visit the old fishermans villages Volendam and Marken. At the end of the day return to Edam and enjoy the local restaurants and your appartement

On the second floor of a rebuilt traditional Waterland house is this beautifully renovated apartment, once used as a hayloft. Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).

It’s decorated with modern art and vintage details. From the studio you will step out on your private terrace. Studio offers free coffee and tea as well as free WiFi. Breakfast is available upon request (€12,50 per person). Situated 25 minutes from Amsterdam. Please note the studio is best accessible by car.

Charming fisherman's cottage

In the oldest part of the famous fishing village Volendam, you’ll find this charming cottage. The oldest part was built in 1890. The 19th century styled living room gives a cozy (or as the Dutch say "gezellig") feel to your stay. There is WIFI in the cottage. The cottage is ideal for two people, but there is ample space for a third person (adult or 2 children when max. age of 6), to sleep in a typically Dutch 'bedstee' on the ground floor.
