With its location adjacent to the harbour and in the centre of the village, Grade 2 listed Quayside has had a fascinating and diverse past. Over the course of its more than two centuries nestled between the centre of the village and the harbour it has served as a pilchard press, net loft, doctor's surgery and even as the premises of the local undertaker! Following extensive recent renovation it has been transformed into chic, comfortable and spacious apartments that showcase the character of the building. The superking bed, which can be converted into twin beds upon request, is topped off with high quality linen guaranteeing a luxurious night's sleep. All apartments possess full kitchen facilities including Nespresso coffee machines, free WiFi, TVs in living rooms and all bedrooms, and Amazon Echo devices. The generously proportioned wet rooms contain rain and handheld showers and heated towel rails, whilst fluffy white towels are provided. Fully centrally heated. St Austell (15 minutes) has a wide selection of supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) as well as the nearest mainline train station. "The Hideaway" is a newly renovated 1 bedroom flat in the village of Fraddon in mid Cornwall, 5 mins from the main trunk road (A30), Fraddon is surrounded by the towns of Newquay, St Austell, Bodmin and the city of Truro, locally there is a good pub in walking distance, there are many takeaways within walking distance, a retail park is a 5 minute drive away where there is a Pub/Mcdonalds, M&S and more, close by is a lovely nature trail locally across the moors if you like a good walk or cycle.
