Our Seaside cottage must be very high up for the best views in Cape Town. The place is simple, sweet& cozy but with BBQ & veranda for summer. Endless ocean views (whales and dolphins in winter), always a cooling breeze in summer (or the famous South Easter). The cottage is perfectly located so you can escape the hustle but at the same time are close enough to all attractions that Cape Town has to offer! This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking and ferries are available right there. The famous Boulders Beach with its colony of penguins is nearby, as are the beaches. Cape Point is a short drive away.

A Greek-style cottage on the hills of Scarborough, a small seaside village near the Cape Point reserve. Crisp white walls, organic curves, and blue accents nod to the owners' many trips to Greece. The open-plan living space has two indoor fireplaces and an outdoor fireplace on the undercover deck, with sea views and a pool fitted with a safety net. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeping up to 8 -bedroom one has an en-suite and its own fireplace, and the third has built-in bunks for kids.

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Louise will be there to welcome you on your arrival.
