Desert Camp Chraika

Welcome to our desert camp located in a beautiful nature area of small dunes with tamarisk trees, a 20-minute walk from M'hamid village. Built from natural materials, with electricity coming from solar power, huts will keep you warm at night and cool during the day. Traditional clay-wooden huts are equipped with comfy beds, warm blankets, carpets and simple shelves for clothes. Full Moroccan breakfast is served every day and is included in the price. We also serve lunch and dinner on request.

Berber Nomad Camp in the Desert + Activities

Discover the deeply stunning beauty of the Sahara desert at our quiet camp among the dunes. Here you will be able to listen to traditional music under a sea of stars, eat mouth-watering Moroccan dishes, and sleep in one of our four cozy adobe style huts with double or twin beds, and shower and flushing toilet inside. We are 2 km from M’Hamid El Ghizlane—away from the loud streets of town, you will find peace and tranquility in the desert, we will meet you from M’Hamid when you arrive.

Sleep in a haima in the Sahara-Chegaga Berber Camp

The Camp is located 55 km west of M'hamid, right under the foot of Chigaga - one of the two highest Moroccan dunes. The camp consists of 6 haimas-bed rooms, a bigger haima that we use like living room and as a dining room, an area with a thatched roof, with comfortable mattresses to enjoy the outdoors next to which we light a bonfire at night, where we meet with our guests to chat, have a tea or enjoy Berber music. We have also a kitchen and a common bathroom with toilets and showers.

Berber Camp Excursions

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Our camp is step Away 5 minutes driving from the town, just where the sand dunes and the desert calmness begins. We do have 4 private and comfortable mud huts. The beds can be depend on our guests desire. We we have two showers with hot water and two toilets outside and close to the rooms. Our bivouac is an oasis of desert calm, 6km from Mhamid town - transport from the town to the campsite is provided. Nestled at the door of soft golden dunnes a place to reconnect with nature and relax under the shaded trees in the peaceful desert landscape. 6 nomadic tents (if you would like a group booking, please send an enquiry) Traditional showers Magic cuisine - breakfast included.
