Beach Town Escape - Newly-Remodeled & Gorgeous!

Beach Town Escape is an absolutely adorable cottage that has been completely remodeled during 2019-2020! It has matching vibrant beach tones throughout the entire home and echoes a very fun and cheerful atmosphere for all! It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an upstairs living area that basically functions as a third bedroom with 2 twin-size beds. The cottage has WiFi, live streaming television, and DirecTV. It's in a nicely quiet and safe location, but still close to downtown and the beach.

Our 1200 square foot rental has a private back yard with a privacy fence that backs up to a wooded bluff, and is just 150 yards from Elberta’s waterfront park — a popular venue for weddings and events.

The Penthouse Suite

Enjoy all four seasons with beautiful panoramic views. A private suite with kitchenette, full bath, bar area with 2 stools. Near wineries, beaches, hiking, biking and Sleeping Bear National Park & Lake Michigan. Herring Lake across the street. Also included is dock access (for walking/sitting) and kayaks at your own risk. Crystal Mountain fifteen minutes by car. Backyard fire pit for guests to use. Note: steep driveway in the winter you will need a four wheel drive vehicle.

Crystal Cottage

My home is a renovated farmhouse located on scenic M-22 just steps from Market Square Park, 1/2 mile to Main Street and 3/4 of a mile to Lake Michigan. While staying, you will have a completely private upstairs with two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The main floor is also private with use of the living room, half bath, kitchen, and laundry room. There is one Ring doorbell located on the front porch. You will be able to come and go easily, with the electronic keypad door locks.

Relax and enjoy this fully renovated, unique and tranquil getaway. The updated 2nd floor lakefront retreat is cozy and functional. The space features an open layout that seamlessly combines the living area, kitchen, dining and bath. You will have full use of the suite which is closed off from the main house making it truly private. Reservations for 2026 can be booked starting in 2026 when all dates will be open for booking. The Sawbill Surf Club is a house on the edge of the dunes and in the heart of the neighborhood, just a five-minute walk from the beloved Cabbage Shed. A place with a porch on the north, east, and west. There are three bedrooms and a reading nook on the upper floor. The kitchen, living room, reading room, and barn room are on the ground floor. The backyard is the sand dunes and the neighbor is the sea.
