Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

Bungalow In the Woods - Close to UNC and Duke

Escape to a peaceful hillside retreat nestled in the woods, where the melodies of farm animals and wild birds sooth the soul. Our stylish and cozy bungalow features three charming porches that invite quiet reflection. Enjoy an easy-to-use indoor COMPOST TOILET. The House in the Hill

Escape to our underground house, a hidden gem surrounded by woods. Ideal for 2-4 guests but can sleep up to 6, it blends tranquility with modern comfort. Inside, a well-designed space includes a full kitchen, cozy living area, and full bathroom with laundry. The charming sunroom offers panoramic views, creating a unique experience for a romantic retreat or peaceful family getaway. The Magnolia

The Magnolia is a multi-story treehouse, nestled on a charming wooded lot, minutes to downtown Hillsborough, NC. Built in the treetops, this bright and airy space is full of handmade touches and warm wood tones. Enjoy your tea or coffee on the second story deck for two, relax in the cozy loft bedroom with views of the forest, prepare meals in the kitchen for a night in, and wrap up your day beside the outdoor fire pit and water garden. Welcome to our cozy craftsman guest suite! Private and peaceful - we're situated on 5 acres close to Carrboro/Chapel Hill (13 mi), UNC Hospitals (15 mi), Elon (20 mi), and the charming Village of Saxapahaw (5 mi). The guest suite is a spacious 500 sq ft with private entrance, full kitchen and bath, bedroom, and living area. With views into the woods and garden, it's a beautiful spot to get away, relax, and enjoy nature. Great for couples and solo travelers alike.

"The Escape," a recently renovated, 1949 home on the edge of a 14.5 acre hobby farm, is surrounded by farm land. Beautiful sunsets views, plenty of character. Convenient to amenities, cities, universities. Great for golf tournament, Furniture Market, college drop off, Parents' weekend, coliseum, get away weekend. 5 minutes to I-85. Sleeps 4, no parties. Please read house rules before booking. We may ask your last name and purpose of visit for safety reasons.

The Garden Cottage

The Garden Cottage is centrally located in the Piedmont area of NC, being only 5 miles from Elon University, within 5 miles to most of Burlington area shopping and restaurants, 1.5 miles to I-85/40, 15 miles to Greensboro, 28 miles to High Point and 37 miles to Chapel Hill. The Cottage has just recently been renovated and equipped with all the conveniences of home. Enjoy your time visiting and exploring the areas around our location. Hope to see you soon!

A long winding driveway leads to this private home that overlooks a three-acre pond. The heart of Greensboro is only twenty minutes away so you can enjoy the best of both worlds: getting in touch with nature or perusing local shops, dining, and entertainment. Pets are welcome with prior approval.

Minutes from restaurants/shopping, this cozy cottage sits in front of a working goat farm while maintaining a private entrance/yard. Handicapped friendly, incl. paved drive, wide doorways, zero entry shower, no stairs. Modern amenities. 16x80 Dog Run.
