Occasionally both orcas and humpback whales will come right between the docks and breakwater and sea lions are a common site.

Welcome to Tahsis Farm, a 187 acre (76 hectare) property situated 3km south west of Tahsis on a steep rocky mountainside, with a pebble beach, 90ft waterfall nearby, and spectacular views of Tahsis Mountain, Mt McKelvie and Rugged Mountain. The Mount Bate site consists of a 2018 Jayco 175RD SLX trailer equipped with all the basic amenities: a gazebo with patio lighting, a BBQ, and a propane fire table. This site also has a private path leading to a sitting area with patio chairs.
