Located in part of our riverside property on a quiet street, this new cosy, light & airy guest suite is ideal for short stays, visits to Exeter Uni, weekends watching Exeter Chiefs & enjoying walking and cycling the South West Coastal Path. Parking is on the driveway if requested. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the town with all the cafes, pubs and restaurants. We’re 10 minutes walk to Topsham train station and a few minutes to the nearest bus stop, providing access to Exeter, Exmouth and beyond.

Relax and have a peaceful retreat, where time stands still. The forest track starts less than 5 minutes walk from your front door, with miles of dog walking or the popular mountain bikes and segway (both of which can be rented) at Haldon Forest. The capsule has everything you need and more.

The upstairs bedroom has 2 double beds, and 2 dressing table/study areas + TV. The Annex at Retreat House

Retreat House is an 18th century merchant's house located a few metres from the Strand and Exe estuary in Topsham. Recently refurbished, we have 2 guest suites included which are separate to the main house with independent access. The Studio is on the ground floor with a double bed, en-suite shower room and kitchenette (kettle, coffee machine, microwave, sink, toaster and fridge). The Attic occupies it's own floor accessed via a private staircase with twin beds and a bathroom.

Situated in a quiet village in mid-Devon surrounded by fields and views of Dartmoor, Exmoor and only 30 minutes drive to Exeter. The annex is brand new and is attached to our family home which has recently been renovated in 2024. Copplestone has great bus and train links to Exeter and Barnstaple. Copplestone has two shops in the village - the farmshop has lovely homemade produces available daily. There is also a golf course 1.6 miles from the annex.
