This is a family activity. I will speak ONLY in English. When you arrive, I will introduce the horses, sheep and goat to you. I will provide safety rules and give you an opportunity to interact with the animals by hand feeding them. During the day, the horses and all sheep and goats roam free on the ranch. There will be one stallion in his corral that loves human attention. You will have an opportunity to help manage and feed all the animals in the late afternoon. You can walk and explore the property and I will provide an American style lunch to enjoy while watching the animals. There are also some wild birds that come and visit our ranch. This experience gives a special opportunity for children to learn about farm animals, the purpose of the farm animals and how they are taken care of in ENGLISH.
Other things to note
Dress for the weather. Wear old shoes you don't mind getting dirty. The animals roam freely and use the bathroom anywhere they please.

I am from the US and grew up on a dairy farm where I raised farm animals like cows, horses, pigs, rabbits, chickens and ponies. We now operate a horse ranch with horses, sheep, goats and chickenswhich I take care of day and night. Our animals are very friendly and interact with the guests very well. I also teach English which is why this is an English language based experience.

The ranch consists of 43 acres. Mostly it is pasture land, but we have wood trails that the horses use and a small pond with benches to sit.

One word to describe the experience: amazing. The initial idea was just to have contact with animals like goats and sheep in a quiet environment with few people, so we could enjoy it to the fullest. But Kevin offers so much more: impeccable organization, amazing location and animals too. Kevin and his family are very receptive and friendly. Besides (for me) you are immersed in different situations of your daily practicing the English language. Kevin, your idea is brilliant and the execution is even better. Congratulations.
