In this experience we will reach the Ferriere Waterfalls in Amalfi. We will start from Amalfi city centre or Atrani or Pontone. We can do a ring walk starting from Amalfi passing all the beautiful lemon gardens and going back to Atrani via the Dragon valley. There is also a chance to go to San Lazzaro (Agerola) from the Ferriere waterfalls ( more difficult hike). In this experience you need to be Fit and try to wear hiking shoes or good grip shoes.

Difficulty : E ( Hiker)
Distance : 9 kms (7 miles )
Dislivell: 350m up and 350m down. ( San lazzaro walk 900m up and 150me down).

Close by Amalfi There is a farmhouse called Foreporta where we can relax and eat and drink anything. They are an organic farmhouse.
Other things to note
In the summer wear an hat if It's sunny.

We will start from Amalfi and we will walking untill the Ferriere Waterfalls along a river, from the waterfall we can decide to go to Pontone than Atrani, to Amalfi and to San Lazzaro ( Agerola). The Ferriere waterfalls are the best place we will visit on our experience cause it's a place plenty of water.
The walk from Amalfi to the waterfall there is river and the area is fresh and nice.

I had a wonderful experience with Enzo. I was travelling alone and right from the moment of booking and throughout the experience Enzo made me feel comfortable with easy communication with kindness. The hike itself was amazing! Due to another hiker dropping out and the lateness of the season it ended up being a private tour. We started in Pontone with a coffee and packed paninis and made our way around to the waterfalls stopping to talk to some rangers and locals along the way. As well as always making sure I knew where we were and what we were looking at he tailored the hike to my fitness meaning we were able to travel much further then I would have alone. We ended in Amalfi stopping for some great organic lemon granitas along the way back. I am looking forward to doing more hikes with Enzo in the future and would highly recommend this experience :) Grazie Enzo

My second hike on Amalfi with Enzo. I read about the waterfalls and was very excited to experience different natural surroundings and special vegetation in the water-rich area in contrast to the dry mountain paths we previously explored. We had a wonderful time as a group of 4 people climbing together, having fun and photographing the nature reserve of the Valle of the Mills. It took some effort to get there but the whole hike was not super demanding. The hidden waterfalls were beautiful to see and to inhale all the freshness close to the falling water. Pure natural beauty, remarkable visit! On our way back we stopped in a restaurant located in the mountains and enjoyed the fantastic lokal produce transformed into the tasty meals typical for the area. I recommend this hike to everyone who comes to Amalfi! You will simply enjoy it!

Enzo was an excellent and enthusiastic host! He was very informative and passionate about the area and the history of mountain range. We saw ancient Roman Aqueducts along with the waterfalls and the protected black ferns with their eggs! Really superb and magical day, I would highly recommend this tour with Enzo!

Enzo si è rilevato una persona estremamente disponibile per quanto riguarda le modifiche dell’orario di ritrovo avendo avuto alcuni imprevisti. Ci ha accolte benissimo e si è rivelato molto competente nelle spiegazioni dimostrando così la sua qualifica di guida naturalistica. Ha saputo adeguare il livello di difficolta del percorso adattandolo ai componenti del gruppo. L’ingresso alle cascate è qualcosa di spettacolare: vale i 5€ di entrata. La vista e il panorama che si vedevano dal sentiero più alto propostoci da Enzo ha reso l’esperienza unica nel suo genere. Molto consigliata e assolutamente da rifare in futuro.

Enzo is een topper, hij heeft ons van onze b&b opgehaald en weer terug gebracht. Hij wil heel graag de mooie dingen laten zien in de wandeling en van het land. We kregen een extra tour toen hij ons weer naar de b&b bracht door de omgeving. Zo hebben we hele mooie dingen gezien.

We are not experienced hikers and Enzo made us feel like we can hike any path. He was highly experienced in the paths and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. Highly recommended tour and Enzo is a great individual and friend.
