The village has 2 fantastic pubs, a cafe all boasting spectacular views across the River Fal, a very well stocked local shop selling fresh local produce, a passenger ferry from Flushing to Falmouth a great service for tourists wanting to get around without using a car. The village also has a fantastic dog friendly beach, beautiful coastal walks & a kids Park.

In a peaceful location but only approx 10-15 mins walk to two beaches, or 2 mins drive to Maenporth beach which has a beachside car park. Good pub, cafes & good restaurants also within walking distance. Perfect for a family holiday!

Cosy Cornish Cottage, seaside town, with beaches

My cottage is very special. It's full of character: beams, slate and wood floors, comfortable furniture, it has a real cosy cottage feel. It's a calm oasis in the hub of Falmouth. Yet walk to the beaches and all the delights of this fun seaside town. There are Festivals here all through the year. The Oyster Festival in October. River Fal Walking Festival, Cider and Folk Festival (May) Beer Festival (Autumn), Craft fairs, race sailing weekends in August and the famous Sea Shanty Festival.

Place to contemplate, 10 mins drive from beaches.

My property is in the quiet and charming village of Budock Water . Ten minutes drive into Falmouth Town centre, and to swimmimg beaches. The property is a semi detached set in a residential area, in a quiet location, with a small private sunny garden. The house is a 1940s semi detached property,by no means perfect,but has character, comfortable & private. I sometimes live in the cabin detached from the house to the back, private from the house, no access to guests.
