Darley Abbey Mills Cottage

This 1840 Mill Cottage is ideally located for strolling to Darley Abbey Mills, now an exclusive wedding venue with its Michelin listed restaurant, wine bars and Spanish tapas. Located on the banks of the Derwent it's exceptionally placed to walk by the river to Derby cathedral. With courtyard, Wifi, Smart TVs, kitchen, lounge, one double and one queen sized bedroom, sofa bed and a delightful Jack ‘n’ Jill bathroom, this is a rare find near the old Mills. Note: Stairs can be steep for the infirm.

The Mill

Grade II listed former brewery mill with a southfacing private courtyard garden. Rate is for 3 rooms - two doubles and a single (5 guests) - not all four rooms (up to 7). Please contact us if you would also like to book the master room with ensuite and we will confirm a rate. NB: This bathroom is shared by the 3 rooms not ensuite, shower is over the bath. Weaver Cottage is a Grade II listed 2-bed character cottage set within the picturesque village of Darley Abbey. The historic cottage is an ideal base from which to explore Derby, Derbyshire and the Peak District National Park. Located across the River Derwent from The West Mill and River Mill venues, the cottage provides the perfect spot for guests seeking a peaceful night after a day of celebrations. NB: The bridge to the mills is currently closed, so access is via alternative routes.

Huckleberry cottage Ingleby is a quiet hamlet nestled in the south Derbyshire countryside. Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.

Laburnum Lodge at Mercia Marina

Our lodge is located in a quiet area of the Marina (a secure gated community) nestled amongst the immaculately manicured planting but within walking distance of places to eat. Basque all day in the sunshine from our huge south-facing wrap-around deck or walk down to the Boardwalk for a drink whilst watching the sun set. The lodge has no steps & wide doors. Twin or double sleeping options available in bed 2 and the enclosed decking keeps pets & kids safe. Perfect family accommodation.

Luxury 3 bed family lodge in Mercia Marina.

Mahonia Lodge was brand new in 2022. A total of 96 sq metres with 46 sq metres of open plan living this lodge provides plenty of space for up to 4 Adults and 4 children. A large wrap round deck allows guests to enjoy sunshine from dawn to dusk while enjoying the wildlife on the ornamental lake. Set in 74 acres of the largest inland marina in the UK the site has been sympathetically developed to accommodate both shopping, restaurants, cafes and the abundant wildlife.
