Canyon Wren Haven: A Romantic Retreat for Couples

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

Enjoy the slow pace and hospitality of the surrounding towns, the wonderful food and quaint shops. Also escape to capital reef for a few days and don’t forget to enjoy the beautiful scenic Hwy 12.

Loa's Farm For Everyone close to Capitol Reef

We hope you enjoy our space. We provide you with oatmeal and farm fresh eggs, as the hens see fit. There is private entrance to a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom all private. We have area that if you need to park a truck and trailer for enjoying our mountains. We own a kennel on the property. This is a great place to stay and have your pet close for a minimal fee to go for a walk with you. We request that your pets stay in the kennel area to help keep cleaning costs down.

The Pinyon House is your home base while you explore the expansive red rocks and exhilarating surroundings of Capitol Reef country. The home is conveniently located in between Torrey Town and Capitol Reef National Park along the historic Highway 12, situated atop a desert bluff with stunning, 360-degree views out of every window. **If we are booked during your dates, check out our other A-frames next door, the Juniper House and Sage House.

Modern studio living with a queen bed, full Kitchen and large bathroom. Featuring all new amenities with the comforts of home. This studio is the perfect home base camp for all of your outdoor adventures. Whether it be visiting the National Parks, fishing, hiking, or ATV riding.
