Nestled in the trees on the edge of our wildflower meadows, the Shepherds hut has all the comforts for a restorative, immersive stay in nature. Wake up to the sound of song birds and fresh air. In the evenings enjoy a BBQ and a toasty fire under the stars. After a long walk or cycle through the woods enjoy a relaxing swim in the pool or a game of tennis.

This private off-grid paradise is an ideal place to rest and recharge to the backdrop of the sounds of nature. You will find everything you need for a cosy night in, with a comfy king sized bed, a bathroom (loo & shower), a kitchenette to cook a romantic meal, a wood burning stove plus an outdoor fire pit for stargazing.

Situated between the medieval town of Sandwich and seaside coast of Deal within a 10 minute drive each way. Canterbury just 20 minutes further, there is plenty to see whilst away.

The Stanhope

Extremely private hut set within 15 acres of wilderness to relax in the remotest part of Kent with direct access into the beautiful valley. Most guests visit us to shut the world out. Our location offers a mix of rural and town experiences, at the foot of the North Downs and the Pilgrim's Way for fantastic walks and cycle rides. One mile from the thriving village of Wye with pubs, great restaurants and shops for essentials. Further evening entertainment in nearby Canterbury (15 minutes by car or train) and wonderful beaches within easy reach.

Getting ready for cosy season. Enjoy the beauty of the countryside when you stay in this unique space looking across the surrounding fields. The shepherds hut sits in its own field of 1/2 acre for your exclusive use, it has a wood fired hot tub and exterior seating on a large deck. Close to the ancient town of Rye with its many restaurants, pubs and cinema and blessed with a 16thCentuary pub a leisurely 10min stroll from the hut. Close to the beaches at Dungeness and Camber.

Gordon's View Shepherd's Hut

Nestled in the High Weald AONB, between the two historic towns of Tenterden and Rye is our shepherd's hut "Gordon's View". Located on a quiet working farm our hut has beautiful uninterrupted countryside views and is situated in it's own field with peaceful surroundings that make it feel very private. The large patio doors opening onto the outside seating area, the wood burner and the underfloor heating all make for a comfortable stay at any time of the year!

Enjoy the unique experience of spending the night in a shepherds hut but with the luxury of modern comforts. You can enjoy a full size walk in shower, comfy double bed and a kitchen. Enjoy and relax with a cup of tea or glass of bubbles outside on the patio or decked area in your own private garden with an option for a fire pit.

Hut in the Vines - all inclusive

A unique rural getaway at Hut in the Vines. Discreetly nestled at the back end of or tiny vineyard, which is now in its 8th year. and very private. Our home is 70 metres away but your space is private with a vineyard view. Outside, there is a traditional, wood-burning hot tub, covered eating area with bbq and wood-fired pizza oven and an electric wall heater-lit with festoon lighting. ONE Small doggy welcome.
