This building is over 100 years old and still have the original charm of the century with the necessary updates for conmfort. We are excited to share this beauty with guests! Gowrie is a charming small town with a grocery store, several cute shops, roller skating rink and a pool in the summer. We hope you will enjoy it!

Very fast WiFi at 340 Mbps and a dedicated workspace. 55 inch SMART HD TV w/ streaming services using your login credentials. We do NOT charge a cleaning fee.

With 2 bedrooms and a queen-sized hide-a-bed, this cozy little place will comfortably sleep 5. This quiet neighborhood can be enjoyed hanging out on the front porch or out back on the patio. Washer and dryer downstairs if you need to do laundry and all the necessities to make a meal in the kitchen. Just a few minutes from downtown Boone and the Boone Speedway, a short 17 miles to Jack Trice Stadium/Hilton Coliseum in Ames, and less than an hour to the Des Moines International Airport.

For your security we have a trail camera at the beginning of the driveway that won’t intrude on your privacy.

I welcome guests to a safe quiet neighborhood. This is a cape cod style home with soft water. Bedroom 1 on main level and Bedroom 2 on the second floor. Please note, there is no bathroom on the second floor. The kitchen, dining area, full bath and comfortable living room are also on main level. The laundry and additional 3/4 bath are located in basement. I do not charge a cleaning fee at this time.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This is a beautifully, remodeled home with a shared backyard space that includes an inground heated pool and 2 Hot Tubs for summertime fun! One Hot Tub and the pool is closed for the winter. This listing is for the East private room, a bath and kitchenette. We do not serve breakfast. Enjoy the quiet of our farm, the woods and views from the porch. We are one mile from Ames.
