Rest and relax at this unique and tranquil getaway within five minutes walk from East Clacton sandy beaches on the outskirts of Clacton on Sea. A few miles away there are Nature Reserves and places of historical interest. You can enjoy long walks and/or cycling further afield along the seafront. Clacton Pier is about 20 minutes walk away where you’ll also find a good choice of restaurants etc. The cottage has its own private entrance with parking. There are also regular train and bus services.

Perfect for a day out with friends or family. It comes with seating, cutlery for your use, (no stove) enjoy sitting in the hut in this prime location and enjoy the lovely beach. Rental is for the day (10am-6pm), no overnight stays permitted. Dogs allowed on the beach directly in front of the beach hut.

The Old Bakery is a detached house set back behind Connaught Avenue, right in the centre of Frinton on Sea. It has 2 double bedrooms for 4 people and a small double sofa bed for one or two in the living room. There is 1 full bathrooms with a bath and shower and 1 half bathroom with shower. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. There is a full kitchen and sun trap of a garden. The house is close to the Tennis Club, the sea and beach, shops, and restaurants, Free parking.

The cabin lies in the grounds of the hosts main dwelling which is situated within 200 yards of Frinton's spectacular greensward and beautiful sandy beaches. The cabin is within a very leisurely 10-15 mins walk to the facilities of both Frinton and Walton where there is an abundance of shops, cafes, eating establishments and entertainment. Further afield and depending on your interests there are many other outstanding places to visit which I'd be only too happy to discuss with you.

PLEASE NOTE THE BEACH HUT IS FOR DAY USE ONLY Daily use beach hut. Second row hut with sea views. Close to kiosk and newly refurbished toilets and car park. A great place to spend some days relaxing by the sea, make a cuppa, walk, read, picnic lunch, have a swim and then have a snooze before a fish and chip supper. The hut is rustic, but comfortable, long benches with cushions for naps, and a stove and kettle. Ideal for couples, families and friends gathering. Doggie friendly.

Self Contained Studio in Wivenhoe

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

Longleat

Ideal location whether you are visiting Clacton for business or leisure. A 5 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the sea front. The town centre supermarket is a 2 minute walk away and so is the town centre. There is off-road parking for 1 car. Aside from the beach, popular local amenities include the pier and arcades as well as the cinema (£3.50) and there are plenty of great local restaurants. All within easy walking distance.
