The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. The school started at 08:30 and you might hear the bell ringing and children and parents coming to school.
