Welcome to the BLACK SHED, an architecturally designed unique property, with high end fit out. The interior boasts traditional timber frame beams that give a rustic and luxurious feel. Featured in the Good Weekend guide. Ideally suited to 2 couples or a family of 4, can sleep 4-5 guests. (OK if you have 3 children yet bedding arrangements not suitable for 5 adults). Within walking distance to great cafes and restaurants, our regional gallery, the Western Plains Cultural Centre and the Dubbo Regional Theatre & Convention Centre. It’s also just a short 10 minute drive to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

Caroo Cottage

The Caroo cottage is a well built shack that provides all the necessities that you'll need. From grabbing a cuppa to fishing down on the banks with the kids, it really reveals nature in the best way. From the sunrise to the sunset. Shower and toilet are external access only. It has access to wifi for all your technology needs. Pets are aloud but they are NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE COTTAGE OR BATHROOM!!! If you would like fishing rods please advise in a message. Enquire for early check in!

You’ll love my place because its located in a quaint village where you can unwind, go for walks, eat in or out or enjoy visiting Shoyen Gardens, Zoo, Wellington Caves, live show (DRTCC) or the cultural centre. You could be wanting somewhere special to stay for a night, a few days weeks or months. The cottage has all modern comforts & is a contemporary interior. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families and business travellers. Pet fee $15 per pet / per night.
