Reikaku Yasaka | Gion | Historical Machiya

Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. The result is Japanese craftsmanship at its best and we are very proud to be able to share the result with the rest of the world. Check our other house as an alternate option @ Reikaku Kiyomizu-Gojo

kyoto villa soso (Near Kyoto station)

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

Unoan townhouse near Gion

Our house Unoan is a 100-year old machiya that has been beautifully renovated into a luxurious accommodation for short stays. You can rent the whole house. The house is in an excellent location with easy access to popular sightseeing spots such as historical Gion area, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizudera Temple, Sanjusangendo Temple, and Fushimi Inari Shrine. The main shopping areas, department stores and the Pontocho dining and entertainment district are all within easy walking distance.

We are located in Kawaramachi near downtown and convenient for public transit, just 10 min from JR Kyoto Station by taxi, 6 min walking distance from the Kawaramachi subway station, and easy access to the shopping and areas. There is very quiet surrounded by hotels and residences, yet convenient reach of bus routes to other landmarks in Kyoto.

五条坂近くのリノベーション京町家です。 築百年の京町家を、古き良き時代の風情を愉しむゲストハウスにしました。 消臭・調湿効果のある珪藻土、檜や杉などの無垢材を使用し、仕上げにまでこだわった贅沢自然素材リノベーションです。杉の無垢材を天井全面に敷き詰め、柱や框や巾木など細部にも檜の無垢材を用いるなど、本物の自然素材の心地よさが感じられ、檜の香りが満ちあふれる空間になっています。 京阪電車清水五条駅4番出口徒歩約6分、京都を代表する観光地清水寺近くの「東山の六原・清水エリア」にあります。清水寺をはじめ、建仁寺・安井金比羅宮・六波羅蜜寺・宮川町・祇園などの観光地は徒歩圏です。

This authentic traditional Kyoto townhouse (machiya) is located on the central island of Kyoto, close to the river, Kyoto station and the city-center. It used to be a typical ryokan inn. The ground floor and second floor suites can comfortably accommodate two groups of 2-3 people.

京町家 天の川 〔Maison à Kyoto Amanogawa〕

This is a nice place to visit Kyoto, just near the river Shirakawa, a really nice place sometimes used for movies or series. The house is near Chioin, Kodaiji, Higashiyama, Yasaka shrine. Just near the house, there is an old market where you can buy and eat Japanese food.
