Our house has generous shared gardens front and back, with a sauna, plunge and fire pit area for guests to use. The gardens are brilliant for younger children to explore, with a treehouse, mud kitchen, climbing frame, slides and plenty of trees to climb. We are creating a forest garden landscape, with fruit trees, native species, bug hotels and a pond to encourage bio-diversity.

Romantic getaway in Buzzard Lodge

Buzzard Lodge is a lovely place for a Romantic getaway for two. It is open plan living and has a wonderful view from all rooms. You can see down the Clyde Estuary and across to Ben Lomond in the distance. There is a full kitchen and although we are in a rural setting the shops for you to stock up are only a ten minute drive. You will enjoy the wood burning stove on the chillier evenings. Also the hot Tub is secluded and you can coorie around the Fire Pit after a BBQ. There is a garden area.

Country village cottage.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.
