The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Outside guests have their own patio and garden area with seating

Kingfisher Riverside Retreat

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, just 350m from the 5 star Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel and 2.5km from Kenmare town. Recently renovated with a king size bed and brand new bathroom upstairs and brand new kitchen downstairs. Open plan lounge/dining and direct access to a private patio overlooking the River Sheen with barbecue, fire pit and patio furniture. All facilities including satellite TV and WiFi. Located directly on the Ring of Beara walking route.

Charming Cabin at the Foot of Douce Mountain

Douce Mountain cabin is a charming self contained little house situated at the foot of Douce Mountain. There is a living space with a stove and a kitchenette on the groundfloor . A ladder leads the loft with 2 beds. It is a very quiet place surrounded y nature. Our other guesthouse is about 100 metres further down . Our own farmhouse is about 500 metres away. It is ideal for someone looking for a very quiet place to relax and immerse themselves in nature.

Also two adult bicycles & helmets available for use during your stay so you can enjoy some of the amazing cycle routes on the country lanes, which surround the house!

Our homely one bedroom apartment is perfect as a base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Just a short drive from Glengarriff village where you will find the famous Garnish Island, Glengarriff Nature Rreserve, Bamboo Park, restaurants, shops and bars. We are also very central for exploring the Beara peninsula, Bantry, Kenmare and Killarney.
