Merlin is a perfect space for 2 on an 84 acre hillside farm. The farm offers stunning views of the Lake of Menteith and surrounding hills. Merlin is a cute space with all comforts considered: a king size bed, small sofa, kitchenette, lush decor and a walk in shower. Bathrobes, fluffy towels, tea and coffee are included. This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Enjoy this gorgeous setting either from the warmth and comfort of the open plan lounge or from your own private deck with extraordinary views over Dumgoyne and the Campsie Hills. You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.

The guest house has a double bed with en suite with a separate living area, with sofa, TV and table for 2. The sofa pulls down to provide a small bed, but we recommend this is for a 1 or 2 small children, or if someone can't sleep/partner snores! There is a kitchenette with breakfast provisions for your stay. A wood fired hot tub and private gated garden with stunning rural views is for your sole use. License no ST000931F
