The Gardener’s Greenhouse is a peaceful studio on 2 hectares of land overlooking a garden, wetlands and cycle trail beyond. It is on a lifestyle block in a semi-rural subdivision, half way between Motueka and Mapua, with Kaiteriteri, Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson, not much further away. You will need a car to get around. Everyone tells us they wished they stayed longer! Treat yourself to the peace and tranquillity of our place! The studio has everything you need for a relaxed stay. It's a large colourful room with a comfy Queen size bed. It is nestled in our large garden with just a short walk down to the beach which is great for walking , swimming or fishing! Golden Bay has so much to offer with beaches, bush-walks, cafes and lots of artisans and we are only a few minutes drive from the renowned Mussel Inn!

The Abel Tasman is one of "NZ's 8 Great Walks". The beautiful golden sands and pristine waters of Awaroa Inlet, and the Abel Tasman track are on our doorstep. Our Awaroa beachfront property is located on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park and the Cottage is nestled in our back garden. The cottage is not seaward-facing, only a few steps to the beach. We have a Necky Looksha 19ft Ocean double kayak, life jackets, dry bags, free to use to explore the estuary, the river or Awaroa Bay.

Cosy, zen studio in the heart of Takaka village

Welcome to our garden property just 100m from the main Takaka shops. The studio is large and cosy with its own bathroom. You will enjoy privacy with your own deck but we are always around for a chat and love meeting new people. There are no cooking facilities (but we do have a fridge, kettle, toaster etc so you can enjoy your morning coffee and muesli etc). You are just two minutes stroll away from some truly great cafes and restaurants - The Wholemeal Cafe is our favourite, open 7 days.

Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.
