Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

Enjoy nature on our large deck with ample patio furniture and a jacuzzi. Our 30 acre property has trails through the meadows, a pond, and creek and is a perfect view into tiny living! Our home is a great central location situated between Chapel Hill and Greensboro and minutes from hiking and kayaking locations on the Haw River. Plush linens, mattresses, and stocked with amazing bath soaps. This is the perfect location for exploring North Carolina’s Piedmont region!

Private and peaceful - we're situated on 5 acres close to Carrboro/Chapel Hill (13 mi), UNC Hospitals (15 mi), Elon (20 mi), and the charming Village of Saxapahaw (5 mi). The guest suite is a spacious 500 sq ft with private entrance, full kitchen and bath, bedroom, and living area. With views into the woods and garden, it's a beautiful spot to get away, relax, and enjoy nature. Great for couples and solo travelers alike.

The Garden Cottage is centrally located in the Piedmont area of NC, being only 5 miles from Elon University, within 5 miles to most of Burlington area shopping and restaurants, 1.5 miles to I-85/40, 15 miles to Greensboro, 28 miles to High Point and 37 miles to Chapel Hill. The heart of Greensboro is only twenty minutes away so you can enjoy the best of both worlds: getting in touch with nature or perusing local shops, dining, and entertainment. Pets are welcome with prior approval.

Handicapped friendly, incl. paved drive, wide doorways, zero entry shower, no stairs. Modern amenities. 16x80 Dog Run.
