Broken Silo

Built in 1867, our attached carriage house has been renovated into a studio apartment. It has a private bath, complete kitchen, sitting area, in-floor heat, coffee and tea. We are located 7 kms south of Elora, 10 kms west of Fergus and 15 kms north of Guelph in the hamlet of Ponsonby. The apartment has a king size bed and a smart TV. No Pets or Smoking. Longer term rentals are available at discounted prices. We have honey bees, chickens, pigeons and a dog named Penny on the property.

The bathroom will leave you speechless and mesmerized with its eclectic style. The cozy bedroom has 3 skylights to let that natural light in. Apartment is very soundproof so you only feel the odd train rumble by.

Very quiet. Spacious screened porch next to Grand River! Fifteen minutes walk (less than 5 minutes drive) to downtown Fergus, 7 minute drive to downtown Elora. Note that access is down a flight of exterior stairs and unfortunately is not suited for individuals with mobility challenges.
